My lovely cousin Anne recently got engaged (over new years — how romantic!) Little does she know how excited I get about weddings. To help her get inspired, I will be occasionally posting inspiration boards based on possible locations she might choose. So far they think it will be in Des Moines in spring or summer next year, that gives me plenty room for ideas.
So this here first board, is set at a local venue called Sticks, a modern loft style space perfect for a modern wedding for such a hip couple as Anne and Eric! The colour palette is mainly grey and white, with a nod to the preppy modernist. It could easily incorporate a fun photo prop booth, a ceremony on the lawn or even another colour to set off the simple palette.
