Year in Review: 2011

So often I find I share what I have read about, interiors or outfits that inspired me, or projects or artists found on the web. But little about the day-to-day. Shall we take a minute to reflect on a few of the good things that happened this past year? Do share your favourite moments as well!

January: We met friends for a big birthday bash in Las Vegas. What a funny city that is!

February: Our beloved chairs arrived! I think February is becoming furniture month at our house.

March: Started quite a few do-it-yourself home projects, but I will save those pictures for a big reveal later!

April: Threw a little shindig on the occasion of the Royal Wedding, guests even wore fascinators.

May: Took a much anticipated spring break out to the beach. Isn't the coast relaxing?

June: We celebrated our second anniversary.

July: Camping getaway over at the beach. I think we were a bit addicted to the beach this year.

August: My dad went out of town, so we had a cuddly little houseguest. The Princess Peach.

September: We met the Prof.'s little sister in Paris and traveled around a bit.

October: We traveled to Kansas and met up with a few cousins, and then went over to Iowa and hung out with the rest! They are all truly awesome people, I am so happy they are family!

And the Prof. celebrated his birthday with a key lime pie.

November: My little brother was officially sworn in as a Fireman.

And hosted a very Tartan Thanksgiving, with a house full of family and friends.

December: We hosted a dandy little christmas morning brunch. My favourite table I've set yet, complimented by a Weinachtspyramid.

And then we celebrated with all of our lovely families!

This has been a really wonderful year. I feel so grateful to have such a wonderful family and friends that keep my laughing constantly and continuously inspired. Thank you for letting me share a bit of that here. Happy New Year to you!
